Alexandra Shipp has been a well-known actress over the years. Born in Phoenix Arizona, USA on the 16th of July, 1991. In 2012 she had a small guest role with Victoria Justice on Victorious. Shipp began her career in 2009, as a support actor in Alvin and the Chipmunks. After starring in Nickelodeon's teen thriller House of Anubis as KT Rush, she was later cast to take on the role of lead in the film as KT. The year 2014 was the year that Shipp received attention due to her roles in the role of Dani Raymond in the VH1 television sequel Drumline: A New Beat and Aaliyah Haughton the title role in the Lifetime TV film Aaliyah Aaliyah: The Queen of R&B. Shipp was a singer in the film's second appearance. She then was Ice Cube's spouse Kimberly Woodruff on the biographical film Straight Outta Compton that chronicled N.W.A's career. In 2016, she was a co-star in Bryan Singer's movie X-Men: Apocalypse as Ororo Munroe/Storm who is a weather-controlling superhero who was previously played by Halle Berry. In the year 2018, she appeared alongside Nick Robinson and Jorge Lendeborg Jr. in Love Simon and Kathryn Prescott and Lucy Hale in Dude both high school-themed comedy films. James is her brother. She played the character Danielle Dani Raymond in the 2014 TV film Drumline The New Beat. New Beat.
