Aisha Jamila hinds is a well-known American actor. Her most well-known role is her roles in the TV series The Shield, and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated in TV series including 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7 and Under the Dome since she first made an appearance acting in 2003. Her performance on Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first one to draw her notice. It was however her portrayal of women's liberation activist Fannie Louis Hamer from the biography film All the Way, which gave her the respect she earned as an actress. Hind was also praised for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's period television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television have renewed the series' third season.
